We cannot allow any other person to accompany a client to their appointment . While I am parent myself, under current covid restrictions we cannot do this . So too are we getting extremely serious about people arriving at our offices without a mask on before entry. We unfortunately must also refuse service under public... health regulations if you arrive without a mask. We have plenty available onsite if you need, just toss a loonie in the pot so we can replace them and buy more as necessary. PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS upon entry, or at minimum use the provided hand sanitizer. Because washing is more effective that hand sanitizer , we prefer that but a customer may still take the step they feel most comfortable with. To be clear on our required obligations: Do not arrive without a mask. If you do one will be provided to you at an additional charge. Do NOT bring anyone with you to your appointment. This includes children. We would prefer you make an appointment another day. Extra people in our office increases risk for all staff and customers. DO wash your hands or use hand sanitizer on entry. DO self evaluate and stay home if you are ill or have symptoms of covid 19. We NEVER charge a cancellation fee if this is the reason for the cancellation. PLEASE HELP US PROTECT YOUR HEALTH. Sept 25 2020 We had to enforce the closure of our offices yesterday due to an issue with our staff and children in school and or daycare. Things are back to normal and we are operational now. Both electrologists have been tested by Public Health, and in some cases more than once. While we apologize for the inconvenience, with the escalating pandemic concerns in the city ( and our plumeting attendance as a result) there may be more closures , temporary or permanent , in our f...uture. We are doing everything we can to remain up to date on concerns and public health regulations and complying COMPLETELY with them. During recent testing we were reclassified as Health Care workers which has sped up test processing and allowed us to be more transparent and communicative and react faster to concerns. Rest assured that our offices have been thoroughly sanitized and everything in them containerized and made into disinfectable surfaces. We use Pre-empt Ready to use ( RTU) spray on all vinyl surfaces between every client and mask use in our office is mandatory. Please remember to wash your hands, self-isolate if you become ill, and protect yourself and our staff by staying home if you dont feel well. If we all do our part there is no reason we cannot overcome this pandemic. We are all in this together, and our staff have tightened our game for infection control because our clients, are worth it.

Here we go again folks. We are expecting a premiere's announcement on restrictions to be imposed on high covid areas, and Ottawa is on the chopping block. On the off chance that this does not mean we are closing immediately there is a related topic I need to address. We have become aware of a large number of new customers coming to us who were previously in attendance at one of our nearby competitors , and the electrologist who runs that clinic is out of office for some week...s ahead. We have no information on whether this may be covid related absence but timing suggests it may be. For this reason, we have to treat these customers as a potential source for covid -19 exposure. All of our staff have been tested and are negative at this point.If you have been to our nearby competitors office anytime after Aug 1 2020 we will require either 6 week period without symptoms since your last attendance, or a negative covid test, if you want to book with us. We are doing everything we can to insulate our staff and customers from this virus and must treat this very seriously. See more

Ashly and I are visiting an esthetics school today to speak to the graduating class and offer bits of professional wisdom to new electrolysis grads. Not really recruiting this year, but we maybe if the right opportunity comes.This is something we do every year , and often gives us the "pick of the litter" in terms of new staff, but this year being an off year business wise these grads are going to need a LOT of advice to get going.

To our Transgender outreach clients: It is with a heavy heart, that we must bring a close to this program which we have run for 4 years and which will end by Dec 31 2020. We will continue to support some cases until Dec 31, but the economic situation from this years COVID outbreak has made it unfortunately unsustainable. Therefore no new Transgender outreach program clients will begin as of now, and those cases in progress will not continue beyond December 31 2020.

Facial Electrolyis is permitted to resume as per normal as of this coming FRIDAY July 17 . Hurray!

We are open on Friday at 10 am and the weekend is almost fully booked already.Masks are required to enter the offices.Starting this week I am open tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays from my home, and friday and saturdays from the office.I might vary up the day but this will be the schedule for most of the summer, as i try and control childcare costs .

Today was not good new for personal service establishments in terms of any potential reopening. The premiere made it clear that he is holding off on allowing services such as Perfect Electrolysis to operate. At best we could be looking at a month from now, and having just had our entire season ripped out from under us. Financially this has been catastrophic to our finances and the future seems very bleak right now. For all those clients asking when we may be permitted to open, I can only say that it doesnt look promising. To ask us to hold off for another months of shutdowns just isnt feasible right now. I'm very worried.I'm worried if we can even weather another month and still reopen successfully. I'm worried for my clients who NEED their treatments.And my family.

It looks like Ontario is turning the tide on this virus and we hope to be back to work soon. Both Ashly and Myself are anxious to get back to the business of removing that hair!
