You may be surprised to know that chiropractors treat much more than the spine! You can see a chiropractor for all types of pain in your shoulders, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, hips and more. Any time you need relief from pain in a joint, muscle or for nerve issues, your chiropractor should be the first one you call. We can help to relieve the pain and refer you on to a specialist or your family doctor as needed.... We are often asked if there is a time that you should NOT see a chiropractor. Since chiropractors are considered primary care practitioners, they are able to assess, diagnose and often treat the issue you came to them for. Chiropractors can also refer you on to additional practitioners to co-manage your concerns. If you have a great chiropractor that you trust, there really isn't a time that you shouldn't see them!... https://youtu.be/R-4c_Bw-5Ng #chiropracticcare #primarycare #yycliving

If you make a slight movement and feel (or hear) a release in your joints, that's great! But in order to properly adjust your joints, the muscles in the area need to be relaxed which is almost impossible when applying force on your own. For this reason, you should not try to adjust yourself. Adjusting tense areas can easily lead to injury, so it is best to visit a qualified chiropractor to ensure you get the safest and most effective adjustment possible.... Got stiff joints? Low back pain? Neck tension? Book an adjustment with your chiro today to get relief! #chiropracticadjustment #jointmovement #muscletension #yycchiro #visityourchiro #stiffness #backpain #necktension #yycliving

This is a common question because there really is no generic answer - everyone is different! Determining how often you should see your chiropractor is all about how you feel. If you're recovering from an injury or correcting a long standing problem, your treatment plan will likely include frequent visits until you see improvement. The goal is to see you less and less until reaching "maintenance" which will usually include a monthly or bi-monthly visit to check in and tune you... up for optimal joint movement. If you haven't seen your chiropractor in over a month, consider booking a quick check in to make sure any sticky areas are moving again! https://youtu.be/ZJthXYLoCDo #chiropractor #injuryrecovery #bodymaintenance #yycliving
