One of our favourite moments of the week is almost here Friday evening Aperitivo. Drop by and grab a drink from our Aperitivo menu and pair it with a small plate like the gnocchi fritto, a hand-rolled potato pasta we deep fry and serve with pesto aioli! + many more fabulous eats for just $10, daily from 3pm-6pm. Happy hour is better at Piatto!

The Michelle is a tomato-based pizza with a pinch of garlic, topped with goat cheese, caramelized onion, roasted squash, wilted kale, and olive oil to garnish! In case you’ve missed all the hype so far its burger week brought to you by the good folks at Halifax Burger Week Piatto Halifax is bringing you the goods with the Neapolitano, Made from locally sourced ingredients, and wedged between a house-made Neapolitan dough bun, our burger is exploding with flavour. Saturday is the last day for burger week so hurry in!

Student night is on! Every Tuesday you can choose any of our wood-fired pizzas and kick back with a glass of 2 Crows Brewing's finest brews.. Oh yeah and it’s ONLY $15 when you show us your student id!! Pop us a DM and save your seat for this evening!

Piatto is for the kids too! To make sure we have something to satisfy even the littlest members of your crew we introduce to you the new Kids Mac & Cheese house-made rigatoni with piatto cheese sauce and topped with aged cheddar. Don’t worry, we won’t judge if you sneak a fork full!

Monday through Saturday we’ve got lunchtime covered! A hot soup will chase the chill from your bones AND if you really want to refuel try a our house-made soup with a 9 pizza of your choice as part of our $15 lunch special available from 1130-4!

Do you like your pizza with ALL the toppings? The Jackie may be just what you need! This weeks Piatto Pizza of the Week, ‘the Jackie’, is a tomato base pizza with fior de latte, pepperoni, pineapple chunks, red onion, banana peppers, and green olives! We'll be serving up the Jackie all week long!

Pasta night, anyone? Aglio Olio is one of our favourites! Fresh house-made spaghetti, EVOO, carmelized garlic, chilies, and topped with grana padano and chopped basil a pasta lovers dream. Enjoy a taste of Naples for supper tonight!

What’s the hops? We gave you a glimpse of what we’ve been working on with our friends at Spindrift Brewing this week and today you can finally get a taste the Piatto Beer is back on tap. BUT there is one catch... our team is SO passionate about our new Lager, that we’re having trouble settling on a name and we’d like YOU to help us out!! ... We’ve narrowed it down to: Fuoco - Fire Tazza - Cup Dieci - 10 Spada - Sword Drop the corresponding emoji in the comments and tag a friend who you’d like to sample our lager with to cast your vote! Today is a very special one for the entire Piatto Family, we're celebrating a decade since we first opened our doors to welcome you into our family! Thanks to an incredible team and loyal guests over the years, we have been very fortunate to be a part of some spectacular moments over the last decade. First dates, proposals, weddings, and even welcoming new little family members to the world, we count ourselves lucky to have played some small part in those precious moments with you. Now 10 years, 8 restaurants, thousands of wood-fired pizzas, and a million smiling faces later we are as grateful for your visits and moments as we were in that first year.

A familiar sight is coming BACK to the taps at Piatto very soon! We're turning 10 tomorrow and to kick off the celebrations we’re bringing back an old favourite.. Think you know what it is? Stay tuned for more info about the big surprise and what we have in store for you during Piatto’s 10th year!

All hail Queen Margherita! This week’s pizza of the week is a twist on the classic Margherita Pizza we present to you the Margherita Bolognese. We top our neapolitan dough with a bolognese sauce and dress with fior de latte, and fresh organo, basil and voila you have a new take on an old favourite. ... Drop in to try it out today!

For this weeks Pizza of the week we’re going to teach you how to Dougie! The Dougie starts with an olive oil base and then we add feta, red onion, oregano, mint and a special sausage we like to call ‘sausage a la dougie’, prepared using ground pork, cumin, chili flakes and a mixture of herbs to season. We’ll be serving up the Dougie all week long, swing by to try it out!
