Pickled Pink Traditional Food and Drink 25.06.2021

I'm skipping the in-person Brewery Market this Saturday. The Neighbourhood Goods Store will be stocked, though! And message me to pre-order and pick up on next Saturday the 15th.

Taking BLK History Market After months of planning, we are so glad to be co-hosting this night market during a very important month. Taking BLK Gottingen i...s a grass roots vendors market born in the North End of Halifax, Founded by two local African Nova Scotian women. Taking BLK is a 30 plus all Black/African Nova Scotian travelling market with upcoming, new and emerging businesses. The variety of business and goods extend from art, clothing, jewellery, skin care, food, baked goods and more. Taking BLK thrives on promoting, supporting, and giving opportunity to the Black/ African Nova Scotian businesses in our communities while ensuring we all have equal access to exposure and opportunity. The Halifax Brewery Market is located on unceded Mi'kmaq territory. This territory is covered by the Peace and Friendship Treaties which Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik people first signed with the British Crown in 1725. The treaties did not deal with surrender of lands and resources but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations. *accessibility notes - There is a wheelchair accessible and gender-neutral bathroom in the Lower Courtyard - Please let us know your accessibility needs and we will do our best to accommodate! Masks are absolutely mandatory, and please do remain a minimum of 6ft from other guests and vendors. Capacity will be limited and monitored at the entrances. The Facebook Event is live on our page and will be the place to check for vendor announcements!

FarmWorks RRSP eligible investments grow good, local, food. For us. (And, I cannot recommend Brianna's Vessel Meats Darkside burgers highly enough. There's local bacon ground in with the local beef. Burger heaven at the Halifax Brewery Market!)

PickledPink.ca is live! I am offering pre-order pick-up at the Halifax Brewery Market Saturdays 8 am to 1 pm, or (if you email me through the contact us link) also at my Wolfville workshop. Returning and new customers will see me at my old spot in the Brewery Market beginning next week. Social distancing, one way circulation and masks will be used for Covid safety. But most exciting: PickledPink.ca is live!
