Pictou Island Charters

Monday Oct 11th 2016 trip is cancelled

OCTOBER TRIPS WILL START FROM THE ISLAND UNTIL OCT 10. THEY WILL DEPART PICTOU ISLAND AT 0800 AND 1600 AND CARIBOU AT 0845 AND 1645. THERE WILL BE TRANSIT RUN FROM THE ISLAND AROUND 1500 ON THE 9TH OCT

For Sunday Aug 28th Unfortunately, as things stand now, both runs are fully booked. Anyone with out a reservation will have to go standby on the 3 and if you don't get on, standby on the 5pm. I would recommend arriving at the dock, with your baggage early (by 2:30pm) as we will be operating on a first come, first serve basis to fill any open seats. Please do not place your belongings behind the yellow line to be loaded on the boat until your spot aboard has been confirmed. In the event that you don't get on the 3pm run, than the same would apply to the 5pm run. Arrive early to secure any open seats. If both the 3pm and 5 pm runs are full, and only if they are full, I will return for a third run immediately upon off loading in Caribou. Those who are on the Pictou Island wharf when we depart at 5pm will be eligible for this extra run.

Due to gale forcast, the runs today are cancel We are planing on make up runs tomorrow along with the fuel run

- Make up runs- Julia Law moves that if we miss one run, then the ferry runs the next day at 10 AM, unless the next day is a scheduled ferry day then you bank that run for a later date. If a whole day is missed, then the ferry makes up the runs the next day using the regular ferry schedule . If a Sunday run is missed then the ferry will leave Pictou Island at 7 AM on Monday. People seem to be having problems with the updated Web page that shows the new ferry schedule if you type in Www.pictouislandcharters.ca in the address bar, the new schedule will come up

We are going to do a make up run for May 3rd on Monday May 18 Departing Caribou at 1500 and Pictou island at 1600 any one wishing to shift there Sunday reservation to Monday, please let me no ... please spread the word
