With the potential of Hurricane Teddy making an appearance early-mid next week, we want to remind you this weekend would be a great time to take precautions and getting your RV ready! Here's a few storm prep tips: Remove any nearby tree branches or other items that may become airborne and cause damage or break glass. Turn off propane cylinders and cover the regulator and unhook your water. I would fill your fresh tank as an extra supply in case of power outage and empty the ...other tanks. We would also put in the slides if you can... in a heavy wind they can blow in some and allow water intrusion and slide toppers can be severely damaged. Chock your wheels and have your jacks down. Secure your satellite dish. Zip tie your awnings. Cover your vents and the air conditioning unit and tie down travel trailers if you can. Secure all furniture located outside your RV, including lawn chairs, tables, umbrellas, grills, etc. See more
