Very good skiing conditions today at Pippy Golf Course for both skate and classic. Snow is thin and even enough for good pole plants and stability; and coverage and glide are high. Still a few hours before the rain tonight.

Great session yesterday on the Upper Pippy Park Trails. Thank You to all the Avalon Nordic members (15) who made the time to help out. Great work was done on th...e Yellow, Green and Link trails from corridor widening to rock placement to assist with drainage. Stay tuned for details on this weekend’s event in Butter Pot. Hope to see you there. Jon and Robert of the Outfitters started grooming the Upper Pippy Park trails last year after investing in a ski doo for this purpose. They plan to groom again this year; what a great initiative that will provide groomed ski trails in Upper Pippy. See more
