Another press release covering our recent story of new restrictions placed on us by the Atlantic Pilotage Authority, and their negative impact on our Port, the Town of Stephenville and the Western Region. With these new restrictions, business and vessels are anticipated to go elsewhere, as the associated fees will not allow the Port of Stephenville to remain competitive in the marine industry. Present adjacent businesses operating through our port will suffer. Future develop...ments which would utilize the Port will suffer, or will now not come to fruition. Without any decrease in our logistics (channel depth, width, turning basin), we ask the Atlantic Pilotage Agency, why now? Please share and show your support for us to remain a major, and competitive, infrastructure asset to present business, future business and our region. #whynowAPA #CBCNL #StephenvilleNL

We have been disadvantaged with new regulations from the Atlantic Pilotage Authority that has the potential to further limit business for our port, our town and our region. The result could be the closure of such a major infrastructure asset to the area. Please read this newspaper article on our story today, share and show your support for the Port of Stephenville to remain a viable business, asset to others and to continue to draw future economic development projects to our area!

We had a visitor this evening during this spectacular sunset. Harley, the Doberman, came to check out one of the only ice-free ports in the Western Region of our Province, and she gave her paw of approval! Come visit our beautiful facility today!

Because of mister Robin Shorts article about the "Airport Newfoundland Party" and his obvious "Short" "comings" and because of his "Short" supply of pride in hi...s Newfoundland roots, heritage and penchant for making the most of ones idle time... Because of this, would you join me boycotting Mr Shorts employer "The Telegram". If the Telegram employs such fool as "Robin Short ", I will in that case, refuse to buy or read such a newspaper.. And instead will buy a paper that promotes Newfoundland culture rather than dump on it... Share if you're with me. It's bad enough when "Mainlanders" take liberties with our culture, but, when it's one of our own... It hurts to the point of being unacceptable... My stance is simple... As long as "The Telegram" employs the Anti Newfoundland "Robin Short".. I will be Anti Telegram... There is power in numbers... Stand up for your roots... Share. See more
