Last year, we installed a set of lights along the Lions Gate Bridge. These lights are used by B.C. Coast Pilots as a navigational aid to centre ships as they move under the bridge and serve as a channel width indicator. Check out our photos for a behind-the-scenes look at how the lights were installed.

The Fraser River estuary, including Roberts Bank, supports some of the largest salmon populations in B.C. and serves as a spawning, nursery, and holding area for over 70 species of marine fish. Knowing how important salmon are to local communities and the ecosystem, the port authority has undertaken a comprehensive environmental study program since 2011 that has led to the implementation of a number of measures to ensure the protection of salmon for generations to come.
