Hello everyone! Just a friendly reminder that our neighbourhood open house is going on tomorrow at our studio. (195 Collegiate Street!) The event is from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and we'd love to give you a tour of the facility, let you know what we do there, and you might even see some acrobats, aerialists, jugglers or contortionists flipping and flailing around while you visit! With Manitoba Health releasing the news of extended COVID-19 precautions and protocols today, we wa...nted to make a public post to assure everyone that we are- as we have been- following the highest standards of safety in our studio. Masks will be mandatory for our tours and if you forget to bring one, don't worry- we'll have one for you! There are also little snacks and drinks for you to munch- everything is single serve and pre-wrapped for your satisfaction and safety! Our studio has been using foggers on equipment, viricidal solutions on all surfaces including floors, and obviously utilizing social distancing between people not in the same household just to name a few of the many precautions we're taking to keep our coaches, artists, and students safe and active in our space. MEET OUR MEMBERS: @aidylemah first discovered circus arts when she began attending social circus workshops as part of her outreach work in Montreal. Since then, she has done intensives in New Mexico and Toronto. Her main squeeze is the trapeze but she has been dabbling in pole because PCA is blessed to host one of the best teachers in the city. MEET OUR MEMBERS: @leannanasberg.fit (@lelonasberg) born and raised in Winnipeg grew up a competitive dancer. She trained in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and Ukrainian dance. Leanna was able to perform and compete all over North and South America and Europe. She started pole dancing randomly one day when she decided to try it in 2013. Leanna was approached to teach shortly after starting pole and taught for about 3 years before she stepped back from teaching so she could ...train to compete in pole. Leanna won 1st place in PSO northwest level 3 in 2017.
