Takeo (8 month old mixed breed - black and white) and Zed (11 month old mixed breed - black and brindle) will both be posted today, January 5, at 1pm as they are both ready to find their forever homes! Please do not apply before they are posted as we’ll know you didn’t read their bio to ensure they are a good fit and your app will be deleted! Applications may not be open for long so be prepared to submit your app through our website once you’ve read their bios to ensure the dog you’re interested in might be a good match for your family.

Well it seems Alaska found her forever home as soon as she arrived with Precious Paws! Her foster mama wasn’t looking for a dog but, as it turns out, Alaska was just a perfect fit! Congratulations Alaska!

Zed is getting pretty excited for Christmas!! He’s just loving all the attention he’s been getting from his foster family. After the holidays he has his neuter appointment booked and then he’ll be ready to find a home of his own. Keep an eye out for updates!

Alaska joined the Precious Paws family on Thanksgiving and she’s doing awesome already! This beautiful girl is a young Pyrenees mix who came to us from a local pound. She’s already getting along well with the cats in her foster home, learning to walk nice on a leash and learning that she’s too big to be mouthy! Receiving updates on our adopted dogs is the best part of rescue! Here's Gus who was adopted this past summer! "Gus is doing well. He just finished his first Puppy Class and we are signing him up for another. He’s cute as ever and has fit in well at his day care where he sometimes gets to go and play with other dogs. He has had his first outing in the snow and seems to like it more than we do. No health issues as of yet. We’ve adjusted his diet a couple of times to stay on top of a health weight. He has settled in very nicely here. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to bring Gus home."
