We are searching for a dynamic RVT to join our busy, multi-vet practice with 2 locations. Our ideal applicant must be a Registered Veterinary Technician in goo...d standing and would excel in a busy practice. They should be able to multitask, have excellent communication skills and advocate for our patients. Candidates would be expected to perform all manner of RVT technical skills such as, but not limited to: venipuncture (jugular venipuncture is essential), anesthetics, radiology, admitting and discharging patients, as well as, client education, answering phone calls and housekeeping. Applicants must be passionate about animal advocacy, interested in a fear free approach and open to change. Shelby, RVT Shelby was born in Ottawa, Ontario and has lived around the city since. Always having a love for animals, she adopted Shadow from the Ottawa Humane Society in 2010. Shadow is an 8 year old kind-hearted cocker spaniel mix. In 2015, she attended Algonquin College and graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program with honours. She then applied to the Veterinary Technician program. After graduating with honours, Shelby received RVT status from the OAVT in the summer of 2018.

Stephanie, AHT Stephanie is our longest standing technician; she's been with us for over 20 years! The best part of Stephanie's day is when she can teach a new pet owner what they can do to become the best pet parent they can be. Stephanie loves classic rock, candy and Corgis. She and her husband share their home with a cat, Lucy and Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Angus. Thank you for all you do Stephanie!
