Kidzville Learning Centre We are looking for a part-time cook with a passion to prepare healthy and nutritional snacks and meals for children between the ages of 1 5 years old. About Kidzville Learning Centre... Kidzville Learning Centre is a full day Montessori program designed for Infants and children up to 5 years old. Established in 2007, Kidzville follows Montessori philosophy of Independent learning. Our curriculum includes Math, Language, Sensorial, Art, Science, Culture and Virtues learning. Responsibilities Hours of work- 8:00am to 12:30pm to prepare meal and deliver. The main objectives of the role are to provide: Excellent nutrition for the children’s workday Meet the daily nutritional needs of young children (based on Canada’s Food Guide-Menu will be provided) Be able to adapt meals for children and with food restrictions or allergies Be responsible for an organized, clean and safe kitchen environment Requirements for the position The successful candidate will be; -Reliable -Punctual -Food safe certification is a must -Culinary training or experience an asset -Class 5 or 7 driver’s Licence Part-time hours: 20-25 per week Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Salary: $18-$20 per hour Benefits: On-site parking Schedule: Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: Following COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for Childcare Settings Experience: Some cooking experience-Training, menu and recipes will be provided.
