Today was going to be the first PRFM of 2020. We were stoked to start the year off right, had a ton of super talented and accomplished applicants... and here we are. Locked down. We’re missing our vendor buds, @calltheoffice , the rush of the set up in the morning, the stress of making sure we do everything we can to make the day a success for vendors but special for guests. We’re missing watching our first vendors arriving, buds from out of town, and our first guest @kicked...intheteeth on his lil stool waiting for our arrival (he beats us every time). The dedication, passion, skills and determination of our vendors is something special, and we miss sharing and creating bonds with them. We’re all going though a trying time. Every. Single. One. Of. Us. And now more than ever we need to be here for our neighbours, and our friends because many of them are the faces behind the small businesses that tie our communities together. What would this city be without our record stores, restaurants, art studios, our buds in bands, our artists feeding our souls? These creators and entrepreneurs are still giving us so much while we’re locked in our homes. One of the most true to us phrase in the punk rock world is if someone falls in the pit you pick ‘em back up. Don’t forget that. We’re all in this together. We’re going to post stories today to pay some homage to our vendor buds that we dearly miss, and hope our community will take part and share the love.
