We are excited to announce our Ongoing School Drive fundraising program. COVID-19 has put a financial strain on schools and minimized how schools can raise funds without holding events. This new initiative will adhere to all COVID-19 safety requirements while supporting parents, teachers, and students in their efforts to raise funds for their schools. We look forward to hearing from your school or PAC to discuss details and have you signed up!

Queensborough Landing Return-It 23.08.2020

To Our QBLR Community: In this time of great uncertainty, our first priority is the welfare of our customers and associates. This unprecedented situation has no manual or guidebook; we are all in it together, figuring it out and making decisions on a day-by-day or even hour-by-hour basis. It has changed the way we go about our daily lives. Beverage container refunds provide many of our customers with a portion of their income / spending cash. We will continue to support these... customers along with our QBLR team and the rest of our community. In order to serve you in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines our depot will maintain our operating hours, however we will be following specific measures to help you with your recycling on Saturday March 21st and Sunday March 22nd: 1. We will provide all recyclers/customers with a pair of disposable gloves to handle and sort their beverage containers. 2. We are limiting the number of customers that can enter the depot at a given time in order to follow the social distancing protocol as set forth by our Provincial Health Authority. 3. One of our attendants will let you know when you can leave your car and enter the depot in an orderly fashion to process your used beverage containers and obtain your refund. 4. If you are recycling cardboard, paper, non-deposit glass (or anything else that does not have a deposit) we will have our mega bags set up outside so you can drop and go. Please FLATTEN ALL CARDBOARD. We also ask that you follow the Community-based measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Canada as outlined on the Government of Canada website. This includes: - Refrain from social contact (visiting our depots) if you are feeling unwell, are exhibiting any symptoms, or have been in contact with an individual who has been diagnosed or is experiencing symptoms. - Cover your mouth and nose when you cough and sneeze. - Refrain from touching your face. - Distance yourself from others while in our parking lot and in line. (at least 1 cart distance apart) - Use our hand-washing stations located in the depot and dispose of the gloves that you were provided. Due to the nature of our business, for your safety and the safety of our team, our team members regularly wear protective gear, follow hygiene protocols and our depots are sanitized using industrial strength cleaners on a regular basis. We also practice all actions consistent with guidance from Health Canada, as well as provincial and local authorities. We remain committed to keeping you informed while we work to continue to support our communities. You will find new information posted on this FaceBook Page as it becomes available. Thank you for your continued to support - please message us for any questions. Your QBLR Team
