Friends, unfortunately, COVID has found a way into the shop. Culture will be closed until Wednesday, November 25. If you have an appointment scheduled someone will be in contact with you to rebook. During our closure we will be thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing, and ensuring the crew is healthy and well to return. We want to assure you that we have closely followed all of the Public Health ordered protocols and will continue to do so. Stay healthy, we look forward to seeing you soon.

In The Barber Chair - Regina Edition Neil Tkatchuk I’ve always considered myself strong and mentally tough, but this year was the first time I truly felt lik...e I was facing something I could not handle. The day our gym was shutdown due to the Covid pandemic was a day I will always remember breaking down and crying in front of my children. I felt like I had lost complete control of my life and that my ability to provide for my family was gone. Over the next three months I went through countless bouts of depression and anxiety. I got into the fitness industry to help people become healthier and we were told that the service and facility we provided to the community was not essential. I struggled with coming to terms with this and also whether or not we would ever be able to open our doors again. I am incredibly grateful for my family and our Trench Fitness staff and community. Without having them to talk to and connect with during this time I very likely would have thrown in the towel and suffered even further. As someone who considers themselves strong and resilient, I learned that I need people around me for support, and that being vulnerable and needing to connect is totally ok. This past year we've taken time to reflect on where we started 8 years ago, who we are now and how we're moving forward.We are growing, evolving and have beco...me much more diverse than our early days.Our diversity - not only in skill set but also in the Crew's personalities is one of our strengths. We decided that moving the shop was the perfect time to rebrand with a name that is more representative of who we are now; a brand that represents our whole team and the clients we serve. Movember is a natural fit for Culture as the majority of our client base are men.We want to communicate to our clients that this is a safe spaceto discuss mental and physical health issues and not only in the month of November.We believe that having difficult conversations takes courage and helps remove stigmas so that people feel less alone. Our primary Movember goal is to encourage and start these hard conversations about health.We want to raise awareness and increase communication. We see our clients through a lot of life events and achievements, and we understand from our own experiences that with those highs, also come lows. We're here to support each other through both.
