Handsome archer came for a visit and got rid of his shedding hair

Pretty miss iris came for a grooming yesterday. She had a great time and was so proud of her finished look. And my assistant Lisa had a great time with her.

My standard poodle bitch Janie had her xray today and vet Alison Jones at Alma street animal Hospital confirmed 7 babies. Please see xray below. Puppies are due may 23 to 27.

Good news. As of February 16 we can go back to grooming as it was before Christmas. We are still working our way through our backlog but you are welcome to message us to book an appointment

Despite the recent news reports we are only allowed to do emergency care, and with a veterinarian’s note recommending such care. If you think that your dog requires an emergency groom, please contact your veterinarian first.... We are currently experiencing a high volume of calls, emails and texts and regret that we cannot answer each and every one. We understand the need to return to some semblance of normal, it is our goal as well. Your support is much appreciated through these difficult times. We are looking forward to getting back to business but, right now, we have strict limitations on what we can do. Please be patient. As soon as we get firm guidance from the Province, we will be in touch. We truly apologize for the inconvenience the current Lockdown has caused. Today we got to hang out with a sweet nine month old Alaskan malamute named Bear. He decided that if Lisa was going to brush him he needed to be in her lap. Couldn't resist taking a video and posting it. We love your dogs.

Jasper came in for his groom today and we worked through some puppy behaviour with him. It is important for puppies to get good grooming experiences as they will be groomed their whole life. Jax puppy wasnt liking his nails done. Rather then getting aggressive with him to make him let me do his nails I used positive reinforcement and lots of patience to get them done. As you can tell from his wagging tail he liked it much better that way. I specialize in dogs that have had bad experiences and timid dogs. Short video to show how I use positive reinforcement and gentle handling techniques to make your pets experience as low stress as possible. Prince is 14 years old and was a little worried about getting groomed. As you can see he was still nervous but well behaved.

Oliver the frenchie came to visit his favorite poodle Janie today. Janie is my personal dog and is at the shop with me most days. She loves hanging out and meeting the other pups. She has made some good friends like Oliver and looks forward to her time with them.
