With my husband’s surgery this week, and Ottawa in shut down mode during the next rainy weekends, I’m going to be closing Red Gables until early November. I’m however Open today until 2pm (Thanksgiving Monday). I’m now calling out to Ottawa to please behave yourselves!! We need to bring our numbers down so our businesses can go on! Image Stage 1 consist of Melt Brie tucked within the folds of a soft crepe and Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus on top Stage 2 Finale is a savoury delight with a side salad. Now available for take out too!

Got caught up in the day and nearly forgot to post these Pear Scones with a crisp topping (golden oats in buttery cinnamon with a dash of ginger and cardamom). Fluffy and crispy on the outside, and juicy pear in spices on the inside. Perfect for Thanksgiving breakfast with the family!

It’s back to basics with our Pear Crisp Scones, made of caramelized fresh pear, and topped with a caramel crunchy oat, cinnamon, and ginger topping. Not overly sweet yet bursting with cinnamon and spices, this buttery fluffy scone is perfect for this coming Thanksgiving weekend! Did you know Cranberries are considered a superfood, containing healthy vitamins A,C, K and have been know to prevent certain cancer and improve our immune function (just naming a few qualities). With Thanksgiving around the corner, we’ll be serving Cranberry Lemon scones and Pumpkin Maple Pecans.

Shout out to Loblaws Barrhaven for supporting us with their massive Scones order this morning for their Staff Appreciation Day! ! 100 Scones! A mix of pumpkin maple pecan, strawberry cheesecake, raspberry/blueberry/cranberry lemon and a baileys Choc cherry !
