One of the best things about photographing people you know - or people with very flexible schedules is that you can wake them up early in the morning for the perfect frost, or wake them in the middle of the night for star photos, despite how cold it is! For real though, my couples put up with a lot when they book me. In Aly & Ian's case, they didn't have much of a choice after she told me that she had bought a vintage dress from the Netherlands and wanted to look like a "win...ter princess" no matter what the conditions. So - we waited for a very cold morning and some hoar frost! Perfection. Oh, and the location? Just a beautiful little area where I grew up that I have unlimited access to, no big deal. Who's next?
Best of 2020: Weddings, Engagements & Covid 19 2020 is a year that will never be forgotten - for many all over the world. It was the year that our small businesses were put to the test and this year really showed us what it means to struggle - personally and professionally. 2020 was a rollercoaster - our highs were amazing, but our lows were VERY low, from lockdowns to closures to postponements and re-bookings.... http://redtreephotography.ca/best-of-2020-weddings-engagem/
There is a reason why photographers love to shoot at sunset - look at that alberta sky. With the current state of the world, I am thankful that I am still able to do what I love - so thank you to everyone who has been supporting my small business this year! #2020 #smallbusiness #yegphotographer #edmonton #edmontonphotographer #sunsetengagement
Farm Family Photos: Edmonton Family Photographer Sometimes, the animals just steal the show. I met with Meghan, Erik, Henrik, Eli & Maverick this past week for the cutest session ever. It included calves, a foal, and some adorable dogs of course! I have WAY too many images that I love, so I'll just post a billion photos. I cannot wait to share these! Sometimes, the animals just steal the show. I met with Meghan, Erik, Henrik, Eli & Maverick this afternoon for the cutest session ever. It included calves, a foal, and some adorable dogs of course! I have WAY too many images that I love, so I'll just post way too many previews. I'll make sure that I post some without animals on the blog post - haha!
