It’s been a little different at Refuge Cove this summer, not the convoy of yachts waiting in line to dock but the General Store is well stocked and the Refuge Cove Gallery is open serving refreshments, coffee and delicious cinnamon buns and goodies. Look forward to seeing you this summer. Smooth sailing and safe cruising to you all.
Take 3 minutes out of your day to put a smile on your face.

Opening Celebrations-June 24, at 2pm. Come to the Museum, 957 Beasley Rd., on Saturday, June 24th, at 2 pm, to celebrate our brand new look and exciting new ex...hibition, Refuge Cove: Moving with the Tide. Exhibit curated by Judith M. Williams. First established in 1910, this hidden community, full of history and personality, lies just kilometers east of Squirrel Cove. Its life and times during the 1970s is depicted in seven iconic paintings by Judith M. Williams. Rare archival photographs, artifacts, stories and interviews will take you from its beginnings as an upcoast provisioning centre enclosed by float houses, to a supply stop for boaters and a haven on the land for Cortes Island’s nearest neighbours.
