Update: The gates are still chained open due to COVID-19 and the ‘pound’ is still here but has shrunk. The park is open but the gates won’t be able to close to secure your fur babies in the park.
Park is open! However, the city and chained the gates open (for precautions due to COVID-19). Citizens are aloud to use the park if they answer no to all the COVID-19 question before entry into the park. I would strongly advise only bringing you fur babies if they listen good to commands, as the gates are open and nothing is stoping the dogs from leaving the park.
I have called the city this time (instead of making a request on their website). The women I spoke to said they are looking into it. This is a good start, however I will continue calling every couple weeks until they get tired of me and end up fixing that patch of water!
I have request to the city to do something about the water by the tunnel that is making dogs sick. Will keep you updated if they reply!
Save the date! Any help is much appreciated
Lots of dogs out today! Weather is beautiful and the dogs are out having a blast! Could you ask for a better Sunday?
What would you like to see happen at the dog park? Events, clean up, etc?
UPDATE! Park is no longer muddy unless your dog goes through the water!

I have seen a couple comments about people and their fur babies having negative experiences at Ross Industrial dog park. Although this may seem like common sense I ask that you only bring your dog(s) to the dog park if they get along with other dogs, you have control over your dog(s), and are willing to take responsibility if your dog ends up showing aggression and/or hurting another dog and/or owner. Dog parks are fun for nobody if we have to worry about our fur babies getting hurt. Thank you for those of you that already follow park rules, and take responsibility and/or are willing to if something was to happen. The dog park is a community effort to make it enjoyable for all.

I have called once again about the water in the park. The lady I talked to said whoever I spoke to the last 3 times didn't submit my request to do something about the water. HOPEFULLY 4th time is the charm!!!!
For all you dog lovers who hate leaving home without your fur babies. https://tourismregina.com//10-pet-friendly-places-to-hang-
