Remcan Projects LP 22.11.2020

Railway Safety week runs from September 21 September 27. REMCAN’s leadership team and its employees are committed to meeting or exceeding all rail related safety standards. It’s not only important to our industry, it’s important for all of our employees to adopt a safety culture in all aspects of our lives. This year, Transport Canada has joined forces with Operation Lifesaver to focus on and increase awareness surrounding the dangers on railway tracks, rail properties, and trains in the #STOPTrackTragedies campaign. For more information, please check out Operation Lifesaver’s site @ https://www.operationlifesaver.ca/Railway

To celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day this Sunday, REMCAN recently worked with Pictographic Creative, a subsidiary of Seyem’ Qwantlen Business Group, to design an Indigenous relations logo that reflects the cultural diversity of the First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples within our employees and the communities where we work. Through a multi-layered reflective process, the spiritual symbol of a drum was chosen by our company for this logo. Its circular form represents a drum and the sound produced is reminiscent of a heartbeat that facilitates healing and realignment to our mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical selves. The logo also acknowledges the importance of community and inclusiveness within Indigenous culture. #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay
