Some folks are curious about how our new covid rules work. When you come in you will need to sanitize your hands and are asked a few questions. Any symptoms/travel? $2 admission This is given and received in a little bin. All money including change from vendors is washed prior to re circulation. ( lysol wipe)... Preferred to bring your own bags as vendors cannot give out 'sobeys' bags. Some may have new bags to give you. ( new kitchen bags) Isles are 12 feet wide so you may move freely socially distanced. (no arrows needed) Of course masks are required at all times. We have 1 doctor noted exempted vendor. He may have visor instead of mask. Washrooms are cleaned at minimum every hour. And door handles very frequently. Vendors will wash any item touched by someone looking. There is no canteen. ( if we had canteen we would have to get everyone's name and phone # that came in the door so we chose not to) There is Java Moose coffee for sale on site as well as some vendors have baked goods. There is a vendor that sells pop and chips. All tables and chairs vendors are using have been washed with hot soapy water and then sprayed with sanitizer. They are spaced appropriately. And vendors have also been screened. I feel like we're one of the cleanest places to shop in town So do come back and join us. Shop this little Mom and Pop shop and all your local neighbors . Help your budget by the many great deals to be had at Rhoda's. A family tradition for over 40 years. New items/recycled items/homemade baking and crafts. Lots of goodies and deals for all.
We have great news! Rhoda’s is excited to re-open Sunday October 11th 2020. Hours 8am-1pm Admission is $2 dollars ... Tables $15 dollars Things will look a little different. Covid protocols will be in place. To keep family and customers safe, masks will be mandatory for both shoppers and sellers. The number of customers inside the market at a time will be monitored. Indoor seating area and canteen will be closed. All vendors will have hand sanitizer at their table, please use before handling any items. Please note that we will not be able to have vendors sell used clothing or stuffed toys. Please bring your own shopping bag if possible, as many vendors will not have them available. The 3rd door on the front of the building will be the entrance. Exit will be the 1st door on the front of the building. On October 11th, in lieu of admission, we will be taking voluntary donations for Romero house. Thank you so much for your support! We look forward to seeing you all soon! -Rhoda’s market
TONIGHT!!! Bring your Lawn Chair. This event is an evening of music. Regular market tomorrow am 8am-1pm with all your favorite KFM Vendors.
Where business has always been personal Dear Vendors and Customers, Your and our safety is our utmost concern. So many of you are lifelong friends that have... become family to us. Many of us that attend and staff of the market are in the high risk category for serious complications or even death due to the virus. After speaking with the health department and trying to implement the requirements to open safely Rhoda's has been unable to design a floor plan that would allow social distancing and be financially feasible at this time. As operators we are responsible for making sure all guidelines are followed and enforced. Due to the numerous changes that would need to take place the market experience would not be the same. The virus is not contained in some places and as we start to open our borders we may see new cases here. Health experts warn of a 2nd wave in the fall. I feel it is our best option to open when there is less risk to do so. This has been a difficult decision to say the least. We miss you dearly. Thank you for understanding. We know many of you depend on our market to sell your items. This decision was not made lightly. It is our livelihood as well. We miss you all and wish you health and happiness in these trying times. We hope to see you in the future. Sincerely, Colleen Hatfield ( owner) Joe and Rhoda Boyce ( founders) Julie Roy ( manager) * a decision regarding our annual craft shows at Brunswick Square and TD Station will be made before the end of July
Bingo the cat is alive and still well cared for at Exhibition Park. I think he misses the crowds though. We are in discussions in regards to the Flea Market and trying to find a way to open safely and fiscally. We will keep you posted. Take care. Be safe. We miss you. Enjoy these wonderfully sunny days!
We at Rhoda's miss you and hope you are well and safe. We at Rhoda's miss you and hope you are well and safe.
