We are all missing performing so much! Not many people realize that creating these wonderful virtual choirs is a lot more challenging than we thought. But we have a few of our more technically gifted ladies in the choir working hard to figure it out! In the meantime, a couple of our members took part in Phoenix Chamber Choir's latest virtual parody video as part of their Culture Days contribution and members of the community were invited to participate. Lots of fun! Enjoy!

We might be a women’s choir, but we can certainly appreciate a good tenor voice! This is so much fun!!! Love it!!

What started out as a gift of music to Gilmore Gardens as our sponsor, ended up with eight senior homes in Richmond area receiving a DVD of our May 2019 concert and the Sage CD. In response we received the sweetest letter from Valerie, Life Enrichment Manager at Gilmore Gardens. "Thank you so much for the DVD and the CD and I have put the DVD on the big screen for the residents to enjoy. They do certainly love to listen to the performances by The Richmond Singers and the ...music is very uplifting for them especially under these circumstances. That was so kind of you to reach out and bring over this sunshine for the residents! We are so grateful that we have all been healthy and have started a soft opening of a few activities. We are still unable to have any outside service providers or volunteers inside the building so to minimize the risk. We look forward to the days we can go on the bus for a picnic and have some fun outings again. For now we will be patient." We’re enjoying so many wonderful vocal collaborations right now, but this one is even more special! Voices Rock Medicine is a choir made up of women physicians and they have put together this heartfelt tribute, dedicated to the superheroes of Canadian healthcare. We share their beautiful message of gratitude and positivity during these challenging times! Thank you to the most amazing healthcare community!

As The Richmond Singers continue their resolve to stay at home, doing their bit to flatten the curve, our need to sing is still strong. Whether we’re too technically challenged to put something like this together remains to be seen... but we can still share it with you! Enjoy!
