As our staff prepare for a well-deserved winter break from Dec 24-January 3rd, we wanted to say thank you to everyone who has thought of our tenants and the vulnerable populations we serve in a year that has been challenging for us all. Our Westwood development is near completion! This 16 unit infill project should be completed in December 2020. The complex includes 8 one-bedroom units and 8-two bedroom units for small families, with 3600 square feet of community space on the lower floor that will be used to create a sense of community within the building. Right at Home is managing this building in partnership with some units available for WINGS of Providence (supporting small families leaving domestic violence) and the Multicultural Health Brokers Cooperative (supporting new Canadians with low income). We've been grateful to work with Niginan Housing Ventures on our new Belvedere apartment complex. The support system designed in this 42-unit complex continues to be developed with cultural inclusivity in mind. Read this excellent interview with Elise Stolte from Edmonton Journal
