Looks like Mother Nature is setting up some huge avalanches this winter. Please use caution when playing in the backcountry.

The nights are getting cooler, especially up at Ripple Ridge. That means it's time to refill the wood sheds again. Taking a load up on September 21 (in the morning) and could use a few volunteers to help stack it in the woodshed. If you're interested in helping out with the effort please don't be shy.

Cabins are all set for winter! Just in time as Kootenay Pass weather station showing - 4.5C this morning and there are snow flakes falling.

Hauling a couple loads of firewood up to Ripple Ridge tomorrow, September 9th. Could use a couple of volunteers to help unload it into the wood shed. Planning on arriving at the Rec Site by about 8:30/9:00 if you are interested in helping us out!
