It’s that time of the year again! Please see our graphic below for our holiday hours! We kindly ask you to please contact us well in advance for any food or medication orders, allowing at a minimum 24-48 hours notice. ... Our incoming lines can be quite busy so we ask that you utilize our online vet store for food orders only. It’s simple to use and once your food order is ready for pick up in clinic you will be notified by email. To register please see the link below. https://www.myvetstore.ca/ritsonveterinaryclinic We are still operating under the locked door/curbside service Covid-19 protocols. During this time we are asking that food and medication orders are paid for in advance over the phone with a credit card or by etransfer to [email protected] (please ensure you put your pets name and your last name in the comments section). This helps us streamline the process and ensures staff and clients can maintain social distancing by preventing people from gathering at the front door. When you are in the parking lot to pick up your order please give us a call and we will bring your order to the door for you. Again, we thank all of our clients for your understanding and cooperation during these trying times. We look forward to the day we can open our doors and welcome you all back into the clinic with your pets.

Thanksgiving dinner can present a number of different dangers for your pets. Here are a few foods to keep away from the pets in the household! Another thing to be careful of is any foods containing sugar substitutes, commonly labelled as ‘sugar free’. Most importantly, anything containing xylitol as a sugar substitute, as it’s lethal to your pets. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
