Hey folks. We finished up our work Friday past and looking forward to a little break. It was a very busy year and I would like to thank everyone who provided us with work and also for having the patience to wait on us to get your projects started. I would also like to thank the guys who did great work for me this year. Garry, Ronnie, Nick, Danny and Jacob I really appreciate all the hard work that you guys do. I also liked to thank everyone who liked and shared our posts. We hope everyone has a great Xmas and please stay safe.

This was the last install for the season. We installed two Ridgefield Plus paver stone walkways in the front ( the colour is called Executive ) and an Upper Island Cove stepping stone walkway in the back. Two great looks that would add curb appeal to any property.

A nice project we just completed. The steps and landing were built with granite blend Pisa Stone block with a charcoal cap. The pavers are a granite blend colour as well. We also cut the front off the Pisa Stones and mortared them on to the wall next to the bottom steps. This really added to the look of the steps. The granite blend and charcoal colours go well with any colour house.

This was a real nice project we completed this morning. It was an area that was just a gravel patio. We took out an existing 6 by 6 retaining wall and replaced it with a Compac block wall with 2 steps in the middle. We then put down a tumbled Holland paver patio with a round Stack Stone fire pit. It is now a great place to relax around a fire with a million dollar view. The colours of the block and the pavers is mocha charcoal, the caps are charcoal and the fire pit block are granite blend.

This was a nice project as well. We took apart a Bell Island natural stone wall and rebuilt it. The Bell Island stone is a great stone for walls. You can put a stone wall anywhere on your property and it will always look like it was there for years.

Pics of a project we started a couple of weeks ago and we finally got the wood to finish off the fence. The horizontal look is getting very popular nowadays. The fence really sets off the whole garden and gives full privacy. The combination of natural stone, brick and wood is a great mixture.

3 of the memorial gardens we have installed at the Torbay war memorial. We will be putting the plaques in the last 2 in the next little while. They are simple gardens with a Harlequin Maple tree and 3 Spireas. We edged out the beds with stone and put in bigger stone in the garden. Hopefully it is a way of keeping the memories of the fallen alive.

This was a a complete backyard renovation. We took out all the grass and weeds, put down landscape fabric, then washed stone for the main part of the yard. We then installed small pressure treated planters on the back end as well as on either side of the wooden steps. We then put in Upper Island Cove stone stepping stones that went from the gate to the deck stairs and to the shed. After putting in new shrubs and perenials to soften the look, we installed a simple fire pit. We are just waiting on the fence pailings to finish of the new fence. The clients now have a great little yard to enjoy.

A nice project we just finished. Charcoal pavers for the main part with a light gray paver edging. With the straight lines and the simple edging it turned out to be a great look.

Pic of the mural which finished off the memory garden we installed a couple of weeks ago. A beautifull job on the painting.

This was a really nice project we just completed. It was installed as part of a memory garden. Behind the planter a mural painting will be placed on the fence. It was an honour to be a part of it. The planter was built using Garden Wall block with a 3 inch cap. The stone in front of the planter is the Imperial Black square cut natural stone and the bench is made using two 6 inch step cut offs with the natural stone tread laid as the seating. We also installed the bed on the right, cleaned out the existing bed on the left and mulched everything with the black mulch. A nice, simple look.

Some plantings and maintenance work we have been doing as well.

This is a project we just completed. The front walkway was installed using 2ft by 3ft patio stones. The patio in back we used new 2ft by 2ft patio stones and added in the old ones that were originally in the front. It turned out to be a great look as we installed them according to the clients plan. These are a less expensive way to have a walkway or patio.

This was a washed stone garden we installed. We took out the section of the front lawn, put down washed stone and planted some shrubs and perennials. In the fall we will be transplanting some more shrubs into this new garden. It is a clean look and gives the front of the house a great look.

This is an Imperial Black square cut stone patio we just installed. It is a natural look but still on the formal side. A great spot to get together with your friends in front of a fire pit.

Some more ideas of landscaping projects we can install for you. Natural stone as well as many of the concrete products can really improve your outdoor living spaces.

With this project we just finished the past week we installed a Imoerial Black natural stone step and then a square cut Imperial Black landing at the bottom of the wooden steps. We also cleaned up and mulched the existing bed on the left as well as put in a Cedar. The bed on the right was an after thought. We added that bed to give the look of the front more of a balance. We also installed a new lawn to finish off.

We can turn this into THIS.

This was a side area that was just gravel. We extended the fence out and put down sod inside. We also cleaned up the stone in back and swept in with polymeric sand. This was a stone patio we had installed several years ago.

A late spring cleanup, fertilizing and mulching of 2 of the memorial gardens we have installed. Simple little gardens with Upper Island Cove stone edging.

Pics of a project we just completed. With this project we installed shrub beds on either side of the driveway as well at the front of the stairs coming down from the front door. We planted evergreen shrubs, hostas and impatients and then mulched everything with black mulch. It is a simple but classy look. We also installed a washed stone walkway with Imperial Black natural stepping stones which leads to the back of the property. Our client wanted a curvy look to the beds and it turned out great. We cut the pavement and gave the beds nice clean lines. It is a great look for the property.

A simple set of natural stone steps which the client wanted for easier access to the lower area of their backyard. The colour is Blue Limestone.

This was a garden restoration that we just completed. We extended the existing garden, took out some of the shrubs and plants, put in some evergreen shrubbery to give the garden a fuller look and we fertilized everything and mulched to finish off. With a few different shrubs and changes you can make your garden look new again.

I would just like to recognize the 4th anniversary of my fathers passing. He was a great dad. He was a hard worker and made a good life for his family. He was a war veteran of WW2. He travelled the world and he was a very smart man. He was a quiet man but when he did say something it made sense. Most of our conversations in the later years of his life were made when he leaned on one side of my truck and I would be on the other. I hope he has a truck to lean on now. I miss him dearly. With all that is going on in the world today, you should never take the people in your lives for granted. Life is short.

Granite blend Pisa Stone steps with charcoal coloured coping stone for the treads and a black wrought iron railing surounding the landing and down the steps. A very sharp, formal and classic look for your main entrance.

Before and after pics of a project we just finished. We installed a nice little washed stone patio for a fire pit. We then installed a shrub bed with 5 Cedars to soften the look of the patio and it also creates a separation between the patio and the rest of the yard. It is always a great idea to combine shrubbery with any of your hardscape projects.

This is a project we just finished. It was an existing walkway and stone edging for a driveway that need to be levelled up and some of the stone replaced. The existing stone is Conne River stone and we replaced some of this stone with Imperial Black square cut stone. The stone edging is a nice compliment to a driceway.

Today we did a spring clean up at a residential property. We edged out the beds, mulched and fertilized everything. We had installed the shrub beds about 3 years ago and the natural stone planter 2 years ago. With some fresh mulch your landscape can look so much better.
