Celebrating Veganuary with an authentic Italian night - vegan style! Rockland Microgreens will be featured as part of the event along with Chef @DouglasJamesLamb (A Cut Above - Vegan Butchery) and Newfoundland Gourmet Mushrooms. After a hard week of working our butts off we like to celebrate each Saturday with good food and tonight was no exception. Tonites meal was steak and BBQ patato with a 3oz side microgreens salad {Sunflower, Pea, Buckwheat, Broccoli, Arugula and Swiss Chard} with roasted garlic and onions and Red Vein Sorrel to garnish the steak. YUMMY!!! Filled with gratitude.

Beautiful and vibrant Red Vein Sorrel jam packed with vitamins C, B and high in minerals. This microgreen with its tangy flavor serves very well to fish. It also goes well with veal, eggs, and potatoes, and even in soup.
