Thank you Vanessa for the opportunity to talk about what clients can expect when returning to physiotherapy after being closed for 8 weeks due to Covid-19. We are into Day 3 of re-opening and are grateful to our staff and clientele as they embrace our new normal. We look forward to working with our clients and allied health professionals in clinic or continuing on with our virtual care!
Thank you for the special delivery from Erica Ward - Lots of face masks ready for our gradual re-opening tomorrow! Thank you!
Monday May 11th we will start a gradual reopening of the clinic. Those that would like to receive Virtual Care or carry on with their virtual care are encouraged to do so. Upon contacting the clinic you will have to answer a few health screening questions. You will also be asked to wear your own community mask - if you do not have one, we will provide you with one. Upon arrival our reception staff will guide you through our "new normal" process. Looking forward to seeing you all in-person or virtually. Take care and have a great weekend!
As we go through preparations to re-open - let me reintroduce you to your physiotherapists! Although we will now all be wearing our community masks and may look a little different, you can expect the same personalized, professional service from each one of us as we work with you to help you to achieve your physical goals.
Let us re-introduce you to our Occupational Therapists Sophie & Krista! This is their new look for the foreseeable future to keep both you and themselves safe! Trust that these two professionals will continue to guide you through your return to work, return to community activities and activities of daily living, cognitive rehabilitation and all other services as they have always done.
As we prepare for a re-opening, know that the faces behind these masks are those of our fabulous reception staff! They will continue to give you the great service that you have always received and have come to expect and will guide you safely through the clinic as we help you adapt to our new normal!

Sophie White (OT) has joined our team as our second Occupational Therapist. Sophie is originally from Fredericton, having attended École Sainte-Anne for her schooling before moving to Ottawa. Sophie will be working both in-office with cognitive rehabilitation (post concussion or mTBI), return to work planning, return to school planning, as well as providing care in your home. If you have a loved one returning to their home that may require modifications, Sophie can help with the transition as well as assisting in Falls assessments etc. Help us in welcoming her back to Fredericton!
