I'm wish to take a moment to talk about my new neighbor Foundry Fitness and Martial Arts aka SBG Magrath. You most likely didn't know this about me but I am a black belt in a mixed martial art like SBG and was a competitive fighter in my 30s placing 3rd one year in the Tigerbalm Internationals in the Sport Jujitsu category. There are many valuable traits and skills I learned from being in martial arts beyond just being in great shape and knowing how to defend myself that ha...ve transferred over into my business world and everyday life. Things like... Confidence High focus and concentration Never give up The ability to think fast, adjust quickly and respond appropriately The ability to remain calm in high pressure-intense situations The ability to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations Knowing there is almost always more than one solution to your situation. As you look at what to place your kids into this fall I would highly recommend you pop your head in the door of the SBG gym and chat with Mike Tubbs the owner. There is so much more to what Mike is teaching than just getting your kids into shape and teaching them how to defend themselves and you will see the transformation in no time.
