Oxford to Springhill very passable with a lot of nice groomed and ungroomed trail running...always drive with caution with low snow conditions.
Just a note to thank the Town of Oxford for plowing a parking area for loading/unloading at the trailhead on Water Street near the Oxford Ballfield.
Trail 262/266 Wallace to Wentworth now open. Expect a few bare areas and wet holes. Rail trail Denmark to Oxford and into Pugwash is passable. No word on Jersey connect trail from the railbed.

AGM/Meeting reminder for this Sunday at the Ground Search and Rescue Building Sunday, October 11th, 6:30. Trail passes should be available as well as memberships. Hear about the past year's work and current trail improvements. Nominate folks for the executive for 2020/21. Everyone welcome!

Trail Closure Thursday and Friday---Rail Trail
Another culvert has collapsed on the Short Line just east of Wallace Quarry Trail junction...it is marked by a tree we put in the hole and flagging tape...use caution. Working on funding for a repair. Will let you know when trail is closed --will be a 2-3 day fix.
Grading from Pugwash Junction to the Colchester Line (Wallace Grant Road ) on the Great Trail.
Note that the Annual Banquet is cancelled for SANS.

Reposting for the last time as part of our Community Consultation process. Do not hesitate to share a word of support or a note/letter of concern. The last st...eps are to share the included poster at community locations and to host a local contact session. This will be held at the new Stage in Eaton Park- Pugwash (Pugwash Harbourfront Centre) on August 1st at 1pm.
