Oxford to Springhill very passable with a lot of nice groomed and ungroomed trail running...always drive with caution with low snow conditions.

Just a note to thank the Town of Oxford for plowing a parking area for loading/unloading at the trailhead on Water Street near the Oxford Ballfield.

Trail 262/266 Wallace to Wentworth now open. Expect a few bare areas and wet holes. Rail trail Denmark to Oxford and into Pugwash is passable. No word on Jersey connect trail from the railbed.

Another culvert has collapsed on the Short Line just east of Wallace Quarry Trail junction...it is marked by a tree we put in the hole and flagging tape...use caution. Working on funding for a repair. Will let you know when trail is closed --will be a 2-3 day fix.

Reposting for the last time as part of our Community Consultation process. Do not hesitate to share a word of support or a note/letter of concern. The last st...eps are to share the included poster at community locations and to host a local contact session. This will be held at the new Stage in Eaton Park- Pugwash (Pugwash Harbourfront Centre) on August 1st at 1pm.
