The Pumpkins were a hit! Pre-carved pumpkins are like biodegradable, edible puzzle balls for the animals and allow them to problem solve for food without the dangers of ingesting any unnatural items while they bite, paw and tackle them. These pumpkins were covered in scents and filled with various treats and everyone had a different way of figuring them out! The egg bombs were a hit with Romeo the Ocelot! The eggs were hollowed out and filled with various scents. Until broken, they also make an excellent ball to bat around and play with! While campers did not make enrichment for the animals at @junglecatworld this season, we want you to know that some of the SZC enrichment favourites are still happening ... #enrichment #closedbutstillcaring #ocelot

Today is a very strange and sad day. Safari Zoo Camp would have begun its first session of the summer today and instead, the grounds will remain empty this 2020 season for the first time in 25 years. While we are extremely disappointed, we are looking to the future. We cannot wait for our 2021 season and hope to see everyone then, in the meantime, we hope everyone has an amazing summer and stay tuned for animal updates
