The Salvation Army and the Department of Social Development and Housing are pleased to announce a new partnership to help keep Islanders safe and out of the cold this winter. The Prince Edward Island Government will provide funding for three locations that will be operated by The Salvation Army Bedford MacDonald House men’s shelter, Smith Lodge and the Community Outreach Center.

As many New Brunswick communities move into the orange zone, The Salvation Army is encouraging donors to give to our kettle campaign online at Fillthekettle.com/ Online donations stay in the community they were raised in using the donor’s postal code. Together, we can still raise the vital funds The Salvation Army needs to help vulnerable people.

In the midst of a separation, Cindy found herself living on a limited budget, without a job to support her children. That’s when she turned to The Salvation Army Moncton, where she received food, clothing and practical support to help her get back on her feet.

Toy collection officially begins today for the annual C100 Cineplex Toy Drive! Donations of unwrapped toys can be dropped off at Cineplex locations in Bayers Lake and Dartmouth. Together, we can ensure every child experiences the magic of Christmas. Because #EveryoneNeedsAnArmy
