Save Crystal Pool

Great read. I have felt for some time the sudden need for an Equity Lens on the Crystal Pool replacement project was nothing more than a way to prevent the project from moving forward. Those of us who use the pool and interact with other users & staff live and breath equity every day. it is part of our core being - and we do everything we can to make the facility inclusive and safe for all. Having others come in from above to tell us we have it wrong is not only condescending but also counter to the notion of equity - I myself am not aware of any council members who have disabilities. The cost of inactivity is close to $1 billion per year in British Columbia. Lets not have it cost more.
