Just a Reminder Father’s Day Salmon BBQ Cancelled Though the salmon BBQ is reviewed early in the year the final decision to proceed with the event is not made until the May Directors Meeting. That meeting took place yesterday evening and a decision was made not to hold the annual Father’s Day Salmon BBQ this year. Though the response from the public has always been high the success of the event is wholly dependent on the weather. Frequently the BBQ has resulted in a loss to the club. It was also felt that we needed to give our large group of volunteers a break and allow them to spend Father’s Day with their families. For this year we will be looking at an alternative event later in the summer.
