Testing date has been changed. I double booked myself. The testing date was the 9th but I had forgotten I was booked for my boxers bout in chestemer on the 9 th. A month ago. ... Tested date will have to be Saturday April 23, Doors open 11:30 am , Testing to start 1:30. Till 4 or 430. After testing we will be having pizza and visiting covered by the dojo. So tonight I went old school. Taught the students how to roll fall jump and trust their body. A few crashes but at the end. Experts!!!! Then boxing I played the hard nose hit coach. See if they would fight through pain and fear. At the end of class I couldn’t of been prouder. Lucas howard , Bo Amos, Roan Ackerman, I have never been more impressed by you guys. Keep it up. A great moment as a coach, teacher and a person who loves the sport of boxing. Well done !!!!

So today I had the privilege of being taken to lunch with my longest standing student in Alberta and close friend Rob Fahrlander. It was great to see him and ge...t caught up. We have trained with legends , held many weapons and had a few adventures. He has also stayed true and strong for our club , community and this old Sensei. He was there in the beginning of many changes and growth of Shindo. Thank you my friend. I look forward to our next visit. A true Warrior through and through. See more
