Happy New Year! We wish everyone health and happiness in 2021! Hope is incredibly important these days, whether you live in Jambiani, Tanzania, or Victoria, Canada. As Covid-19 vaccines start to arrive around the world, hope grows and spreads. There are signs of hope everywhere!

Today we learned some very good news when we were speaking with someone from Jambiani. There have been zero case of Covid-19 in Jambiani! They are using all precautions, including physical distancing, masks, and hand washing. Schools were closed for a couple of months, but are now open again. We are so very happy with this news, and we hope everyone continues to be healthy. Our hearts and thoughts are with everyone in Jambiani.

Happy International Women’s Day! We are proud to be a group of Canadian women, supporting women in Jambiani, Tanzania. Nine women are employed in Jambiani, to cook a healthy, nutritional school lunch for 650 students. These women are the sole income earners for their families. Helping women, and girls and boys in Jambiani fills our hearts.
