It’s Fr Tom’s last weekend at SIJ Thanks for always being up for our shenanigans, and for your constant care these last 4 years. I remember one EDGE night, there was supposed to be time for Confessions and I completely forgot to make arrangements for a priest to be there... (kind of an important detail, I know ) I scurried into Fr Tom’s office a couple of hours before, and with my best puppy dog eyes, asked if he was available that evening and apologized profusely for asking so last minute. He checked his calendar and said Sure, no problem to which I must have said thank you!! about 27 times. And he looked at me and said Of course, it’s why I became a priest! And that’s our Fr Tom in a nutshell. Ready and willing to serve. We will miss you, dear Father!! Our prayers and love go with you!!
