Sing Haida Gwaii

The recipient of this year's Elizabeth Inkster Music and Arts Award is the Tow Hill Community Choir. The choir organized Sing Haida Gwaii, a three-day workshop... for 50 participants. Their application was submitted by Kyla Mitchell and Shauna Huber. This all-islands singing workshop at the Hiellen Longhouse was led by music instructors Patti Powell and Karla Mundy. Congratulations to the organizers and all the participants who benefited from this terrific event. Thanks also to others who submitted proposals. Our next application intake will be in early 2020.
