The new Saint John Customer Service Centre opens Monday The day has finally come! We are thrilled to announce the new Saint John Customer Service Centre will be open beginning Monday, October 19. The Service Centre is the one-stop location for all municipal inquires, payments, and visits to City Hall. Visitors and customers to City Hall will be able to access all in-person municipal services through the new Customer Service Centre, located on the ground floor of City Hall, 1...5 Market Square. Anyone wishing to access offices and meeting areas within City Hall must register with the Customer Service Centre upon arrival. Visitors will be required to have a pass on and visible while in the building; masks are also required. There are two access points for the Customer Service Centre 1) the front, street-level doors off the main City Hall Plaza, and 2) The new elevator located off the Shoppes of City Hall pedway (next to the former Treats restaurant). We look forward to welcoming visitors into the new space. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding during the City Hall move.

UPDATE ON PAY BY PLATE PAYMENTS: It looks like Visa has discontinued support of MagStripe contactless. This is a global change made by Visa and affects all Vendors (not just the parking industry) using Magstripe Contactless technology (TAP). It is also common that people try and use their debit cards that are branded Visa or Mastercard. Debit cards are not accepted at any of the pay by plate machines. Only credit cards, tokens and coins.
