Skeena Valley Fall Fair

Greetings everyone Throughout the year we often get messages about events, registrations and fees so here is some information that we hope will answer some of your questions. 1) The Skeena Valley Fall Fair is a non profit society. That means we rely on sponsorships, fundraising and grants in order to host our fair which can determine how much we charge for our fees.... 2) Our society has a very small group of volunteers who sit on our board of directors and a small number of volunteers who help out in some way with planning and organizing certain events that take place. We all put in countless hours in the planning and execution of the fair which can be challenging as we all have jobs, families and other life events we deal with daily. 3) The special events at our fair such as the Cottenwood mini trains & the clown are a few of the many expenses we incur as well as the radio and newspaper advertising, the sound equipment and musical instruments and the rental of the Thornhill community hall. We also have to purchase those fancy booklets everyone loves, the ribbons and awards and the wristbands we use at the gates and these are just a small fraction of our costs. In closing, this is a community event that we all are doing our best to organize and host but we need community support. That means that if you personally or your business would like to sponsor an event, donate money or volunteer your time we would love to hear from you! Hey everyone We are back in action & in the beginning stages of planning our 2020 Skeena Valley Fall Fair and we need your help!! Can you help us choose this years theme??? Because this is our 50th year we would like it to be extra special so here are 2 choices we’ve come up with. Please vote for the one you like the best or if you have an idea for a different theme put it in the comments The theme with the most votes or likes will be the winner!!!
