To my valued students, I am happy to announce that I will be resuming my driving lessons on June 1st. Thank you all for your patience and understanding while I have been closed. Because your health and safety is my first priority, I have established a new protocol for both students and myself to follow during this pandemic. It is as follows:... Pre-screening will be required of all students prior to booking a lesson. I will be using the self assessment tool: https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en Please click on the link and do your self assessment. Before the start of the driving lesson, please ensure that you have passed the self assessment questions. Upon entry into the car, you will be offered hand sanitizer. Face touching should be avoided. Tissues will be available if you feel the need to touch your face. I will wash my hands before and after every lesson. The vehicle will also be sanitized and disinfected before and after each driving lesson. You will be required to wear a mask for the duration of the lesson. You are required to bring your own clean unused mask. I will wear a face shield so I can give instructions clearly to the student. All frequently touched areas in the vehicle will be cleaned/disinfected (with approved product) in between driving lesson. This includes the steering wheel, rear view mirror, side mirror control panel, gear controls, dash board, driver seats and other parts of the car that the student might get in contact with. Only touch-less payments will be accepted at this time (e-transfer payment only). I will not be accepting or handling cash. The windows will be open during lessons to create more air circulation from the outside.
