With that in mind, we thought it best to get ahead of the game and give some insight into what you might expect from the housing market as the weather cools and days get shorter!

Last week we talked about holding offers... this week we want to highlight a strategy in which a buyer uses a pre-emptive offer to dissuade a seller from waiting for other offers! Also known as a "bully offer", a buyer writes an offer early and insists that it be presented to the sellers. However, the sellers don't need to respond if they don't want too. A pre-emptive offer usually needs to be very strong in order to entice the seller into changing their game plan. In other words, it needs to be an "offer they can't refuse"!
