January...not even half way through and so much is up in the air! Lockdown, Quarantine, back to school, curfews...reopening? It’s been challenging to say the least. We are loving the details of flat stitching on the sides & back ...and the thin metallic thread through the hood... Super subtle so you can barely see it, but it adds a fun twist! Did you know that we’ve been designing and manufacturing our own cashmere for over 20 years? That’s how we started Snapdragon- Born out of the craze for Pashmina‘s, we moved into manufacturing sweaters, scarves and ponchos... using small manufacturers from both China and Nepal . Cyanotype... this is a super cool photographic printing process of making images on fabric, using the sun... taught to me by a close friend this summer (@raeganjlittle )... so what to do with such beautiful prints? Well, we’re in a pandemic after all so we made these into masks & we think they turned out beautifully ...all one of a kind, in store.
