The Souris Glenwood Pool is closed for the Season. Many thanks to this great community and all the visitors to our facilities that allowed us to provide recreational activities for many friends and families. The Pool will be holding a Red Cross Assistant Lifeguard Course! What: Red Cross Assistant Lifeguard Course: A pool safety course in and out of the water. The first step towards becoming a lifeguard. We only have one word.... WOW!! We are overwhelmed with the amount of support we have seen so far this season. We were so surprised when pools were moved into Phase 2 of the provinces re-opening plans. Since then, we have dedicated so much time and energy into creating a schedule that allows for hundreds of children to take Red Cross swimming lessons while also ensuring that participants still get to enjoy programs like Aquasizes, Lifeguard courses, and public swimming.... We know our schedule looks different this year but..... what doesnt?! We wanted to take time to say THANK YOU to everyone who has showed their support to us this year. We are so happy that we were able to open and provide a safe, fun place to enjoy this summer and are excited that many people feel the same way we do!! A reminder that we are receiving extremely high levels of phone calls, emails, camping requests, and swimming lesson requests. We continue to work through these but our response time may be longer than it has in the past. We thank you for your understanding and patience!

Our first week of lessons is COMPLETE!! This week we had roughly 70 children build upon their swimming and water safety skills with us! We are soooo thankful to everyone who has been so patient with us as we navigate all these new guidelines!! It is as new to us as it is to you and we truly appreciate your understanding as we work out all of the details involved in making a safe and fun place this summer!!! ... IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE: Please read and share to help spread the word about our current plan regarding the 2020 camping and swimming lesson season. We will continue updating the public as we receive more information ourselves. A reminder that requests for booking for campground stays under one month and swimming lessons opens TOMORROW April 6, 2020 at 9:00AM at sourismanitoba.com.
