COVID-19 Update from Bishop Fabbro December 11, 2020 With the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit moving into the Grey/Lockdown Level of Public Health measures on Monday, we must, unfortunately, make the changes effective Monday, as outlined below. Charity means we must make these sacrifices to help ensure our neighbours are safe. We must care for others in our communities and our fellow parishioners, even if it means we cannot gather for a short time. We thank all levels of go...Continue reading

Announcements - 33 Sunday of OT - Nov 15, 2020 My Dear Parishioner, I hope you are doing well and keeping safe. Some announcements for this Sunday. 1. Down in the Parish Hall, the Sunday Envelopes for next year are ready to be picked up. I invite you to take time after Mass and go downstairs to take your own packages. I would also like to thank you for your generosity and concern for our church. Especially now in this difficult pandemic time.... Since many people are not able to come to Mass, we are asking for your help. If you can take the packages of your neighbors, friends or family, and deliver to their homes in a safe manner, it will be very much appreciated. All parishioners were informed that they will receive their Sunday packages. We also invite you to consider switching to Pre-authorized giving or something new this year - e-transfer. The details are on the Envelope packages but for any question please call us. 2. As you have all probably heard on the news, the cases of corona-virus are growing fast, especially here in our province. We are not sure what could happen in the next few days, or weeks. We hope we do not have to close again. I would like to thank all of you for your understanding and respecting all the rules we introduced in our church to protect our health. Please be patient and listen to our ushers. They are here to help!! The masks are obligatory inside the Church. Social distance must be respected. If you don’t feel well or you have flu-like symptoms, please remain home. We invite you to do your part in limiting social gatherings to help flatten the curve. Thank you again for you understanding and patience. I would like to assure you of my daily prayer for all of you and your families, especially for the sick, the suffering and those who are facing difficult times in their life. I am always at your disposal. If somehow, I can help - please don't be afraid to call me. God bless you and your families. Please stay safe! Fr. Piotr

I humbly ask you to continue to help us if you can. Shortly we will deliver you our Sunday Offering Envelopes Packages for 2021, however we encourage you ...to switch and use Pre-Authorized Giving or donate through e-transfer: [email protected]. Family of Parishes - Updates. We are preparing to become the Family of Parishes. With this change we want to become a Missionary Church open for those who seek God and for those who left the Church in the past. The new organization of parishes called: Families of Parishes will help priests and parish staff to dedicate more time to the evangelization of the faithful. As a community of the faithful, we want reach out to people who do not come to church. We want to better serv...e the sick and the elderly. We want to spend more time preparing for the sacraments, teaching not only children but especially their parents. We want to promote new programs to our young people, families and adults. Evangelization and catechesis will be at the center of the "Families of the Parishes". Next year in January we will be announcing the future Family of Parishes. In July 2021 we will be activated as the new Family of Parishes. Together with us, in the family, will be two neighboring parishes: St. Patrick Parish and Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish. In our Parish Family we will be two priests who will serve in our three churches. We would like to promote all the parish activities and celebrations carried out to date in these churches. We want to keep the parish groups that we have up to now. We will try to collaborate with other churches in catechetical programs such as: First Communion, Confirmation, Marriage Preparation Course, RCIA, Youth Groups, Bible Study. I hope and pray that these necessary changes will help our community to be even more united and more beautiful. Find some more info: https://dol.ca/documents/2016/11/Task%20Force_ENG.pdf
