The Apartment - This hand carved cedar support post needed another item in a rich mahogany colour to pair with it. I found this superb espresso and mocha cowhide from Brazil at #icowhide.ca. They go together beautifully. Ordered on the 4th, arrived on the 6th. Free delivery.

Sylvain (fire chief)and Jason (from the municipality) came to pick up 20 turkeys from Stage FX and deliver them to the food bank for the Christmas baskets. Great cooperation!

The beautiful bungalow on Golden Lake has three good size bedrooms that could accommodate a family or many guests.

It was our great pleasure to stage this brand new bungalow on "Golden Lake" with it's own beach and beautiful gardens.

Lovely and interesting building for sale.

First impressions are everything when you are presenting your property to potential buyers. This office/entrance needed a bit of pizzaz to get it ready for the marketplace. We kept the solid wood desk and added items to create a substantial and inviting space.

The Townhouse - living room before and after

We had the pleasure of staging this amazing townhouse.

Our first project since lockdown! A beautiful townhome with this huge rooftop terrace. Incredible views in 3 directions. More photos coming soon!

Stage FX is taking on it's first job since the beginning of the lock down in early March. We are ready to fulfill your staging needs in a safe manner. We will wear masks for your protection and sanitize all of our products. Soft furnishings will be stored for a minimum of 3 days between staging projects.

While you are staying safe at home, STAY SAFE AT HOME! Never lean an unopened stepladder against a wall. I did this with our 11' stepladder and am in my second week of recovering from broken ribs, toe and various other scrapes and bruises. Don't be like me.

Todays rain made it a great day to complete some masks. Four sizes, from men to small children.

Since the fabric stores are closed, Stage FX is sacrificing some 100% cotton, high thread count pillow cases, along with Dollarama neckerchiefs to make face masks. They will have pockets for extra filters.

Monday morning laugh!

I started this maintenance project last summer and never finished. These last two lights were particularly dirty, even with a bee hive in one. Now they look like new. Doing these maintenance projects can help distract you from the "news" and make you feel good about your day!

Another maintenance job done during quarantine. I had left it too long. It took the whole morning!

Todays maintenance project was to clean this chandelier and change a few of the bulbs. This is a job that we love to avoid, but now its done and we feel good about it.

As we are all staying home and staying safe, now is a good time to complete all of the home maintenance tasks we never get around to. Make a list, buy your supplies on line if you don't already have them and get to work. You will have a great sense of accomplishment! Today I am painting my bathroom vent covers.
