War takes the young and brave, some return, these brave beings so hurt and in pain, they think of their fallen comrades. Starling Automotive Inc. established in 1997 is a Professional Auto Repair Company located Bathurst/Dundas St W, Toronto; we require 1 Full Time APPRENTICE Automotive Technician. Duties General repairs to Cars and Light Trucks (Foreign and Domestic) Comfortable with all forms of mechanical and electrical diagnosis and repair Perform visual inspection of vehicles and recommend service/repairs as required.... Communicate vehicle repair/maintenance needs to service team Road testing of vehicles. Apprentice Apprenticeship is Learning On-the-job Practice safe work habits. Use your apprenticeship training standard as a journal to keep track of which skills you have achieved. Talk over your training plan with your Training Consultant, Employer, Union, or Sponsor. Know what tools are required for your trade and how to use them. Ask questions and keep asking. Talk to your employer about your training needs. Demonstrate enthusiasm and good work habits. Ensure that you and your supervisor/trainer sign off skill/skill sets upon demonstration of competency The ideal candidate must have: Apprentice registered with OCOT Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience. Valid G Driver License Proven diagnostic and mechanical experience on a variety of automotive makes and models Self-motivated and reliable. Good communication skills and commitment to quality service. Candidate is required to keep a safe and clean work environment and own tools.
