Welcome to The Shawnessy Barn Hey everyone, I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and welcome you to the shawnessy barn!! The incredible location of ...our Whole Earth Market that we are hosting on fri March 27th from 3-7pm! My name is Stefanie and with my bestie Melissa we’ve come together as 2 witches that need a space to do what we do best! Promote local business, build an amazing inspiring community of like minded people and heal the whole earth together through love and compassion for others, along with helping people be the best they can be! I am here to welcome you to our venue for our launch market to kick off this new endeavour we have created.... The Shawnessy Barn is an absolutely breathtaking venue with a history all it’s own, over 100 years old and a standing historical landmark in south west Calgary. As soon as we walked through the door we knew this was the divinely chosen space to create a life changing event and experience for the community and all surrounding people! What used to be a dairy farm that still has the names of horses burned into the woodwork now houses many different opportunities for the community and is an incredible support! This project was truly a life changing experience on so many levels and it was truly a blessing and honour sharing in each of these women’s stories and rising through the darkness!! My heart is overflowing with gratitude for sharing in this experience and working together to make the best change possible in everyone’s lives!! This photo is by far the most powerful photo in the entire calendar! Such a treasure in this beautiful models story and her drive to stand up for those in need is remarkable! Stepping out of her comfort zone to create change my heart is overflowing with gratitude for the honour of being part of such a life changing project!!!

So incredibly blessed to be part of this beautiful life changing project!! Yet another incredible photo and I truly had so much fun stepping out of my comfort zone to create this beautiful hair design for a beautiful woman inside and out! No one truly knows the inner struggle it takes to step out of the domestic violence and believe within yourself that you are worthy of more light, love and happiness! Not everyone seems violent on the outside but what goes on behind closed d...oors is something to stand up against and fight for your worth!! This calendar has shown me how so many women have chosen their own inner light over darkness and took the stand to give a voice to those who feel they don’t have one! This photo has to be by far one of my faves and being able to listen to this wonderful woman’s incredible story and the strength she found within to rise through it all is incredibly inspiring!!! All these women have amazing stories of rising through the dark to find their light and together they have spoken up for those who feel their voice is lost, there is strength within numbers and no matter what it takes you are worth shinning your light and being supported along the way!!
